French producer DJ Ferry Tayle was born in 1982. His first musical experience was with jazz. He started playing the saxophone at the age of 7. He became interested in electronic music by discovering Jean-Michel Jarre's first album. After 14 years of jazz music he decided to move into electronic music. He bought his first decks in 1999 and began to DJ. In 2000, he took his first steps in his professional development in the biggest club in the east of France called Le Colysée . In just one year he had the chance to share the decks with some big names like Cosmic Gate, Darude, U96 and very well known French house DJ, David Guetta.Ferry Tayle's new tracks have seen support from the best DJs in the world like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above Beyond, and many more.Sameer and Jacquelina interviewed Ferry for TrancePodium.
Over the last 4 years the Trance Awards have become the decisive final word on whose is smashed it hardest in the scene over the preceding 12 months. With every aspect of the genre covered across its 13 categories, the Awards are now set to enter their 5th huge year as the 2009 voting gets underway at 11am (GMT) on the 1st of September.
One of the first generation of trance radio broadcasts, in its original incarnation Menno de Jong’s Intuition Show rapidly developed into a weekly music update that rivalled the biggest out there. Over its 150 episode run it brought the very cream of trance progressive music (as well as all the hinterland shades in-between) to the electronic dance nation. Developing a massive dedicated listenership throughout its 3 year run, it incorporated guest-mixes from some of the biggest DJs in the world, including Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn and a host of other spinning stars. In order to focus on other aspects of the Intuition operation, early last year Menno transferred the show to a 2 hour, monthly format. This however was only ever a temporary measure…

At the age of six, while most kids are learning addition and subtraction, Cristina played piano and studied the mathematics of a classical piano sonata in music theory. Starting at the age of 13, she trained professionally in jazz, classical, musical theater, and gospel vocals. By age 16, Cristina had picked up the guitar while studying Theater at Interlochen Arts Academy, Michigan and singing with a touring gospel choir. She continued her studies in Pittsburgh, PA at Carnegie Melon University combining her passion for singing and acting in Musical Theater. As the lead singer for Tritonal, Cristina’s ethereal vocals played an instrumental role in bringing the trio’s melodic, yet progressive trance to the forefront of the dance music scene. And this is just the tip of the iceberg, a teaser if you will. The ADE is known as one of the major showcase festivals in the world, and accommodates both party animals and industry people. Over 700 artists are expected, and they will do their thing on 40 different stages over the city.
